October to March is the most comfortable time, with cooler weather for temple visits and the Konark and Chilika drives. December and January are the busiest months, so book hotels early. Rath Yatra (June or July) is an extraordinary experience, but it needs its own planning. Hotels fill up months ahead and normal sightseeing is limited.
We own and run the vehicles used on our Puri tours, so you are not handed over to an unknown taxi operator. Choose a sedan for couples, an Ertiga or Innova Crysta for families, or a Tempo Traveller for groups of up to 17. Every vehicle is air-conditioned, cleaned before each trip and driven by a local driver who knows the temple routes, parking points and festival diversions. Flights or trains, monument tickets, the Chilika boat fare, lunch, dinner and Panda offerings are not included. We list them in your quote so nothing is added on arrival. The nearest airport is Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, about 60 km from Puri, or 1.5 to 2 hours by road. Puri also has its own railway station. All our packages include pickup: your driver meets you at the airport, Bhubaneswar station or Puri station with a name board.
Yes. Every package can be changed. For families we choose hotels near the beach with family rooms or extra beds and use an Innova for longer drives. For senior citizens we arrange lift-access or ground-floor rooms, battery-cart help near the temple and a slower daily schedule. See our Puri family tour packages.
We are a local, government-registered operator (ID TMPAG00868) with offices in Puri and Bhubaneswar, and we run our own vehicles and drivers. Your trip is not passed on to an unknown local agent, and our team is nearby if anything changes during your stay.
Only Hindus may enter the Jagannath Temple. Other visitors can view the temple from the Raghunandan Library rooftop opposite the main gate, and all other sightseeing in our packages is open to everyone. Read our temple guide for dress code and entry rules.
